During COVID-19, the Mind to Heart Association presented an online group therapy project. This social, emotional, and mental health project was based on the GREENZONE philosophy by the well known therapist and author Dr. Khalid Sohail. The online group therapy project promoted mental and emotional well-being in our community while community members were isolated and craving for social connections, as well as providing participants techniques and strategies to stay positive. The participants learned to use analyzation to determine what their source of happiness was, by observing their day to day routine and associating their feelings with Dr. Sohail’s "color zone" concept.

Family, Seniors, and Immigrants

We have successfully run mental health programs for families, seniors, and immigrants in the Greater Toronto Area. Our programs are diverse and range from Women's literary circles, to open mic nights, and poetry events. In addition, we have run art therapy community-specific programs for South Asian seniors, sponsored by federal government of Canada.

Disability-focused seminars

Our seminars are designed to engage with the community to foster a better understanding of disabilities and children with special needs. We aim to educate and open perspectives for differently abled individuals and inculcate a more respectful language and attitude for them.
